REVISE teachers

REVISE WA is incorporated under ICPA and assists in supporting parents throughout WA to provide children living in remote and isolated areas of Australia with tutoring in the classroom.

The scheme provides voluntary tutors (retired teachers) to come out and help with the education of your children for a period of four to six weeks to families who are finding it difficult to be in the classroom at times such as mustering, shearing, illness, inexperience in the teaching field, etc. So, if you are busy, or need a break, contact REVISE - WA:
Assistance for Isolated Children's (AIC) Allowance

A Distance Education Allowance of approximately $3400 per year is available to assist in the setting up and maintaining of the classroom for each child studying Distance Education from Pre-primary onwards.

Each term the principal reviews the work submitted by students and informs Centrelink whether payment is to continue. It is expected that a student should complete and return at least 75% of the work sent out to them.
